We all face challenges. When these challenges prevent us from fully enjoying life and relationships, counseling can provide immediate and long-term relief and coping skills. Regardless of how difficult your situation feels, our experienced, compassionate therapists can help you develop effective coping skills to manage the hurt and uncertainty you may be struggling with.
Therapy offers a safe, non-judgmental environment for us to understand how events in our lives have shaped us. This empowers each of us to take the important steps necessary to meet our goals, cultivate acceptance and restore our sense of balance. Whether you are facing an immediate crisis or experiencing the effects of previous events, our professional counselors will work closely with you to create a personalized plan that will work best for you.

Substance Abuse Treatment & Classes
TurningLeaf’s unique approach to addiction is based upon the understanding that addiction is driven through the avoidance of emotional discomfort. Addiction and recovery become simpler and more manageable by learning how to understand what is emotionally avoiding and establishing new beliefs and boundaries to counter the unhealthy coping skills that have come through years of avoidance.
Our classes/groups are offered individually or combined in programs. All programs and classes require a prior recommendation by attending an evaluation. It’s simple to set up an evaluation – just call 435.652.1202 to find a time that works for you.
Six Points to Recovery / Life Skills
Available through one on one therapy sessions with one of our providers.
The Six Points to Recovery program is a method of treatment that helps us establish balance in recovery by looking at six areas in our lives. By identifying how our lives have come to this point, then looking at how they will shift when in balance, we can THEN become accountable to maintain balance in each area. As part of this group, we create relapse prevention plans in each of the six areas and focus on ways to create self-accountability. Clients make a commitment to one concrete step weekly to promote healing and balance. It is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is an 18-week therapeutic group run by Mental Health therapists. This group also includes six individual sessions as part of the curriculum to personalize goals.
